CPA Activities

The CPA sponsors many career development and social events every month. Please see the CPA Calendar for more information. You can also join the CPA mailing list to stay informed about upcoming events.

Monthly Meetings
The CPA Board meets once a month on the first Wednesday of the month, from 9:00-10:00 am in Avery Conference Room (located on the second floor of Avery dining hall) or Avery Courtyard. All postdocs are welcome to attend. See the Meeting Reports for the latest Board meeting minutes. for more information.

The CPA also has four committees that meet regularly to direct our efforts:

Social Committee
The CPA Social Committee provides regular opportunities for social and academic networking.

Career Committee
The CPA Career Committee directs career development programming for postdocs and graduate students.

Advocacy Committee
The CPA Advocacy Committee works toward improving the postdoctoral experience at Caltech by ensuring that postdocs are well-represented in campus decision-making.

Outreach Committee
The CPA Outreach Committee organizes volunteer opportunities that allow postdocs to give back to the local community.
